The SSLC exam in Karnataka happened from 28th March to 11th April. The results for this exam were out on Thursday. Karnataka and her students are happy as they saw a pass percentage of 85.63%. This is the highest percentage of students who have passed since the last 3 years. Around 8 lakh students had appeared for the examination in Karnataka this year. The state had 3,440 exam centres. The students were very happy with their results and were seen celebrating after their results on Thursday. No record of malpractice among students was reported.
The PU admissions have been started in many colleges across the state. All the applications are temporarily running online due to the after effect of the pandemic. The result portal also followed the online mode. Due to Covid-19 even classes had shifted online. Despite the online barrier 85% students have passed in the examination. This is a proud mark on the history of Karnataka’s education. Amit Madar from Vijayapur topped the SSLC exams this year. Those students who failed to clear these exams will be given a supplementary said the education board of Karnataka.
Apart from Amit, 145 students scored 100%. The students are happy about their results as their hard-work has paid off. Consistent efforts and non-stop success is the reason behind these extraordinary results. The parents are elated as well and say they look forward to more in the future. A student from Mangalore who cleared her SSLC said “After we see our results we are so happy because the effort we put day and night has paid off. We also feel like achieving something in our life”. The results have motivated the students and they are looking forward to a future with great ideas.
