Lalit Modi, a popular businessman, in a recent tweet stated that Sushmitha Sen and he are in a relationship which might lead to marriage. Surprised with this news are the netizens and few of them have congratulated Modi. The former Miss Universe has remained silent on this issue. When media approached her brother, he said this was a surprise to him as well. Lalit Modi shared a tweet with few pictures of both of them together from their vacation in Maldives. The tweet stated- β€œJust back to London after a long vacation in Maldives with the families, not to mention my better looking partner Sushmitha Sen. A new life and a new beginning, in love does not mean marriage yet”. After this announcement pictures of the couple together have been shared from 2014 and people are speculating the time of their relationship.

Lalit Modi’s tweet

Sushmitha Sen was crowned Miss Universe in 2000. She adopted two daughters Renee Sen and Alisah Sen, in 2000 and 2010 respectively. She was dating Rohman Shawl since 2018, she met him through instagram. Their relationship ended in December 2021. The next big decision in Sen’s life has been the media buzz behind Modi and her relationship. However she hasn’t commented about this relationship but revealed in an instagram post that she isn’t married to him. Her ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl spoke in favour of her against the trolls that are making the rounds.

On the other hand Lalit Modi, the founder of the Indian Premier League married Minal Modi in 1991. She died of cancer in 2018. They have two children, Ruchir Modi and Aliya Modi. According to Lalit Modi’s tweet, it is said that they visited Maldives as a family along with Sushmitha Sen and her daughters. Public is abuzz with this surprising relationship that became official but nothing further can be said until Sen confirms these news from her side. Β
