Johnny Depp Reportedly Offered Rs 2,355 Crore As Apology From Disney To Return To Pirates Series

Disney had fired Johnny Depp because of domestic assault allegations against him from Heard. Four days after Amber Heard’s op-ed was published, Depp was dropped from the popular film franchise. His career took a turn for the worse. From being one of the highest-paid actors a few years ago, Depp was now struggling to not only revive his career but also to get his reputation back.

As per Australian pop culture website, Disney has sent an apology to Johnny Depp. An insider told them, “I know the corporation sent him a gift basket with a very heartfelt letter, but I’m unsure how it was received.”
Along with an apology, Disney has offered him a Rs 2,355 Crore deal to return as Jack Sparrow in the next Pirates film. Disney has also asked the actor to return in the role of Jack Sparrow. The source added, “But what I can tell you is that the studio has already penned up a draft for a film about Jack Sparrow β€” so they are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character.”
However, nothing can be said to be true until an official announcement about the same is made. The screenwriters had previously said that they have no plans to bring Johnny Depp back. Depp had also admitted that he won’t return Pirates of the Caribbean franchise even if he’s offered USD 300 million (1950 crores). “Disney was trying to cut ties to be safe,” he said about his exit from the franchise. When asked if the actor did not wish to return to the franchise, he said, “That is true”.
Heard’s attorney, Ben Rottenborn asked him, “The fact is, Mr Depp if Disney came to you with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a β€˜Pirates of the Caribbean’ film? Correct?”. Johnny Depp replied, “That is true.”
