Singer KK is no more : Krishnakumar kunnath dies at the age of 53

Krishnakumar Kunnath was popularly known as KK. He was an Indian playback singer. KK passed away in Kolkata on may 31st,Tuesday night. According to the sources, KK felt sick during the time of performance at a concert.

Eventually KK’s family arrived to Kolkata on Wednesday morning. KK was announced as dead when he was brought to CMRI hospital. PM Narendra modi wrote on twitter “Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions as a struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanthi”.

Jeet Ganguly, who collaborated with KK in many movies said that no symptoms were seen before his death. KK has recorded songs in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malyalam, Kannada and others. Subsequently several celebrities and singers expressed their condoles to their family and fans.

Bollywood actors reacted to the sudden demise of singer KK:

Akshay Kumar tweeted :”Extremely sad and shocked to know of the sad demise of KK. What a loss! Om Shanthi”.

Abhishek Bacchan wrote “this is such shocking and sad news. KK, thank you for sharing your talent with us all. Gone too soon. Rest in harmony!

Singers mourned to the demise of KK:

Singer Armaan Malik wrote “Concerts in India need better management ,medical and emergency facilities. I have seen and been part of far too many shows, that don’t serve the right conditions for us to perform in. But yet, being the artists we are , we continue with performing. because we don’t wanna disappoint our fans”.

“Just can’t believe that our beloved KK is no more. This really can’t be true. The voice of love has gone. This is heart breaking” added the singer Harshdeep Kaur.
